Microfinance

Launched in 2007, Microfinance is the flagship programme of Margdarshak group. Regulated by the Reserve Bank of India, our microfinance services cover all segments of the community in rural and urban areas. Following a market driven and customer centric approach, our microfinance products and services cover various segments of self-employed, home based entrepreneurs and MSME’s. Margdarshak provides loans for petty trading, handicraft manufacturing, livestock, new age business etc. Winner of Micro Finance Process Excellence Awards, Margdarshak is one of the few MFI’s to provide loans for small enterprises supported by business development services.

Strategic support to Margdarshak is provided by DIA-Vikas, the Indian entity of Opportunity International, Australia and MicroSave, India provides technical assistance to Margdarshak. The products and services of Margdarshak are born out of understanding that access to finance is not the complete solution to poverty. With this understanding the organisation is viewing itself as emerging one of the leading livelihoods supporting microfinance institution in the region.
