Rahul J Mittra (CEO & Promoter Director)
M.A. with over 14 years of development experience, Presently CEO of CLFL, Rahul J Mittra is a development professional and has done extensive grass-root work in north India. He has extensive experience in enterprise and microfinance development in the region. His extensive knowledge about livelihood practices and organisational building skills are useful for the organisation in developing relevant policies, processes and mechanisms for comprehensive growth. Also contributes to client interface and bringing in the client feedback for board and key stakeholders.

Arup Jyoti Rai Baruah (Promoter Director)
One of the key promoters of Margdarshak, Arup is an alumni of Institute of Rural Management, Anand and has over 15 years of working experience in both development and corporate sector. Specialising in SME development Arup contributes to visioning of the organisation by guiding the planning process.

 

Saroj Mittra- Manager- Finance and Planning Manager
M. Com., CAIIB with 13 years of banking experience. She was Ex- AGM of SIDBI and has worked in various streams ranging from internal audit, direct finance and development banking division of the organisation and is a junior associate of Indian Institute of Banking. She possess extensive financial management skills and is responsible for prudential norms in financial management, business planning, development of financial management systems and overseeing information management systems within the organisation.

Amit Singh, Manager - Operations
An MBA from GB Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar he has served with ICICI group and Coromandel Fertilisers. Amit brings with him 7 yrs of sales and marketing experience in agribusiness companies of repute. Has shouldered responsibilities in Sales/mktg & business development in rural areas all across UP, Punjab & Haryana. He also has extensive experience in team management, marketing and sales planning & coordination. Amit’s skills in rural marketing and team management, are used by the organisation in operations management on day to day basis.

Gurmeet Anand, Sr. Executive - Recruitment, Training
M.Com with over 9 years of experience in SHG Management. Gurmeet is involved in providing social security related services to the mf clients of Margdarshak. Gurmeet provides technical assistance in enterprise and cluster strengthening interventions of the organisation and its partners. Currently in charge of recruitments and coordinator for trainings. Gurmeet supports the board and the CEO in process reviews and assists the operations team in developing responsive systems and mechanisms.

Sandeep Srivastava, Sr. Executive - Special Products & Enterprise Loans
M.A Sociology with over 15 years of enterprise development experience Sandeep manages the enterprise development initiatives of the organisation. Sandeep with his team of business counsellors is engaged in providing business counselling and enterprise development services to Margdarshak clients. Sandeep’s extensive knowledge of enterprise development is used by the organisation in management of special loan products which enable the organisation in deepening its relationships with the communities.

Gurpreet Singh (Assistant Manager- Finance & Accounts)
An accounts professional who has completed his ACCA(Association of Certified Chartered Accountants) qualification from England with specialisation in Audit and Financial Management. Before joining us he was a Lecturer in the Bristol College of Accountancy, England. He is a registered Lawyer with two years experience in the legal field. He also holds a Master’s degree in English Literature. He has joined us in the capacity of Asst. Manager(Finance and Accounts) and is responsible for the preparation of periodic and statutory financial statements and smooth running of accounting function. In addition, he bears the responsibility of managing our Internal Audit Function.

Disha Gurnani (Assistant Manager- Finance & Accounts)
An MBA from Amity University with specialization in Finance and Marketing with more than one and half years of experience in Finance, Accounts & MIS. She joined Margdarshak in the capacity of Management Trainee- Finance and Accounts and is presently working in the capacity of Asst. Manager. She has been able to take over the responsibilities of management of information management systems and is responsible for ensuring up-keep of the software in coordination with the IT manager. A good 2nd line management person, Disha is being groomed for assuming larger responsibilities within the organisation.

Chelleth Roshan John (Regional Representative-South India)
Chelleth Roshan John, a MSW and MBA graduate from Mumbai working in the developmental sector since 6 years. She has been working in various fields and also holds various educational degrees. Currently based in Goa, she is the Regional Representative, South zone and heads the community development project of Margdarshak. Along with the same a good second line management person who has the capacities to impart trainings to the organisations and other programs of Margdarshak.

Lak Tewari
MBA from Motilal Nehru Institute of Research & Business Administration, Allahabad University, LAK has over 30 years of professional experience in Management consulting and Project Management. He has served with PWC as Manager – Consulting, Apollo Tyres as Manager – Corporate affairs and Indo Canada Environment Facility as Senior Project Officer.

Tapan Choudhury
Mr. Choudhury has wide experience in the field of monitoring studies including Evaluation and Monitoring work on a Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India project on evaluating centrally sponsored schemes in the State of Assam, Karnataka, West Bengal, Nagaland. Mr. Choudhury’s work experience in agriculture and NRM related issues through work in Agri-watch, CSE, WWF, Ministry of Environment and Forests is an asset for Margdarshak.

Nicola Drago
Nicola holds a MS in mechanical engineering and is an international resource person in SME development and ICT for development. He has previously worked with UNIDO and corporations such as the Carraro Group in Europe, Africa and the Middle East delivering feasibility studies, participatory market researches as well as advocacy to SME in business planning and product development. He is a co-founder of World Diversity Associates (WoDA).

Marco Cosi
Marco is a Geologist and a Mining expert with 26 years of experience in providing technical assistance and guidance to SMEs in the mining sector. He has worked with large number of international organisations and corporations primarily providing guidance and consulting support on diagnostics, feasibility analysis, business planning and market surveys. He has extensive experience in Africa, the Arab Region, Asia and Europe and he is a co-founder of World Diversity Associates (WoDA).

Rudolf Schuetz
MBA in International Business from Webster University, California Rudi has previously worked as European Union Senior Advisor in Vietnam in the field of private sector development, as well as consultant for small-medium enterprise development and finance planning and budgeting. He has specialised experience in managing BDS interventions in South Asia and provides technical guidance to Margdarshak from time to time as required.
