|
Position: District & Branch Managers - Microfinance About the Job: The branch and district managers will be required to be based at various locations in Uttar Pradesh. Being in charge of the respective branches and districts, the branch manager is expected to lead a team of about 6-7 credit officers. The district manager is expected to manage about 7-8 branches plus the data centre in the district. The branch managers (BM) are the front-line manager of the organisation. Responsible for branch performance the BM is responsible for overall performance of the branch. In collaboration with the credit officers, the branch manager is responsible for maintaining 0% portfolio at risk, 100% achievement of quantitative targets and 100% on time availability of funds at branch. S/he is also responsible for updation of branch reports for MIS. Tasks and Responsibilities:
Qualifications: Branch Manager - Graduate in any discipline with 3 years of work experience in microfinance. Demonstrated capacity of managing portfolio of at least 200 lacs for a period of 1 year. Possesion of own 2 wheeler is a must;
Position: Program Manager & Sr. Executives – Livelihood Development and Market Access Established in 2004, Margdarshak has been involved in economic strengthening of community in North India. The group is involved in market linked microfinance, market access and livelihood strengthening. Operating in 4 districts, Margdarshak is now in process of rolling out a market linked - self sustaining livelihood strengthening programmes. The initiative envisages establishment of critical livelihood and value chain supporting facilities, which will serve the twin objective of livelihood strengthening and self-sustainability. The sub-sectors identified for intervention are embroidery handicrafts, artificial beads, livestock and poultry. Margdarshak now invites applications for the stream leaders who can take lead in rolling out livelihood strengthening initiatives in the above mentioned subsectors. Candidates should have demonstrated abilities in managing livelihood interventions of a large scale with willingness to undertake extensive travelling. Margdarshak believes in working as a social enterprise and the spirit of entrepreneurship is well respected within the organisation. In this spirit the senior professionals in Margdarshak are encouraged to function with high level of independence and authority. The organisation envisages that the interventions will be initially incubated within Margdarshak and be gradually hived off as independent entities under a suitable legal framework. The interventions are envisaged to draw strongly from Margdarshak’s microfinance interventions which are targeting reaching out to 1,00,000 families over next 3-4 years.
